Academic transcription
Qualitative research stands or falls on the fidelity of the interview record. Your coding is only as good as the transcript underneath it.

What makes this audio hard
Why this audio is difficult
Field recordings are rarely clean: ambient noise, participants speaking at a distance from the recorder, code-switching between languages, and long overlapping exchanges in group settings.
How we handle it
Our approach
Academic work is drafted and then human-reviewed for speaker consistency and utterance boundaries — the things coding software depends on. We deliver true verbatim, including hesitations and false starts, or clean-read, whichever your methodology requires.
Files are formatted for import into NVivo, ATLAS.ti and MAXQDA on request. Participant anonymisation and pseudonymisation are available.
